Our Commitment: The “Risk-Free” Guarantee

Since ZenCode AI utilizes professional-grade Google API keys that do not allow for a free trial tier, we operate on a “Risk-Free Guarantee” model. We want you to feel safe purchasing the license to test the software.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a no-questions-asked 14-day money-back guarantee on the ZenCode AI License fee (£95).

If you purchase the license, plug in your key, and decide within 14 days that the tool does not fit your workflow, does not save you time, or simply isn’t what you expected, we will refund your license fee.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 You ARE eligible for a full license refund if:

• You request the refund within 14 calendar days of your purchase.

• The Plugin does not work on your server configuration.

• You simply decided the product is not for you (“Change of Mind”).

• You have uninstalled the plugin and deactivated your license key.

2.2 You are NOT eligible for a refund if:

• More than 14 days have passed since your purchase.

• You are requesting a refund for Google API costs (see Section 3).

• You have violated our Terms of Service.

• You engaged in “Project Dumping” (see Section 5 – Abuse).

• You refuse to uninstall the plugin after requesting the refund.

3. CRITICAL: Google API Costs – NO REFUNDS

IMPORTANT DISTINCTION: ZenCode AI charges a License Fee. Google charges an API Usage Fee.

• We CAN and WILL refund your £95 License Fee if you are not satisfied.

• We CANNOT refund any money you paid to Google for API usage.

By using the plugin, you acknowledge that API consumption is a utility (like electricity) provided by Google. Even if you refund the ZenCode license, the API calls you made during your testing period were validly processed by Google and are non-refundable.

4. Refund Process

4.1 How to Request

• Email us at contact@zencode-ai.com within 14 days of purchase.

• Subject Line: “Refund Request – Order #[YourOrderNumber]”

• Briefly state the reason (optional, but helps us improve).

4.2 Processing

• We will process approved refunds within 3-5 business days.

• The funds will be returned to your original payment method.

• Your license key will be immediately deactivated.

• You must delete the plugin files from your WordPress installation.

5. Anti-Abuse Policy (“Project Dumping”)

While we offer a liberal refund policy to allow you to test the software, we monitor for “Project Dumping.”

We reserve the right to DENY a refund if our logs indicate:

• You purchased the license, generated a massive amount of code (e.g., a full SaaS application) in a short time.

• You exported the full project code.

• You immediately requested a refund after the export.

This behavior is considered theft of intellectual property and service abuse.

6. Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds or pro-rated refunds for unused time. The annual license is priced as a complete package.

7. Renewal Refunds

• Licenses do not auto-renew unless explicitly selected.

• If you opt-in for auto-renewal, the same 14-day guarantee applies to the renewal charge.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank.

• We are happy to issue a refund in accordance with this policy.

• Initiating a fraudulent chargeback (claiming “unauthorized transaction” for a valid purchase) will result in a permanent ban from our services and immediate license revocation.

9. Technical Requirements

While you may refund for “change of mind,” we strongly recommend ensuring your system meets the basics before buying:

• WordPress 5.0 or higher

• PHP 7.4 or higher

• Ability to obtain a Google Gemini API Key (requires a Google Cloud Billing Account)

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for refunds related to:

• Google API service outages (global downtime).

• Your internet connectivity issues.

• Third-party hosting failures.

11. Fair Use Notice

This refund policy is designed to give honest developers a safety net to try ZenCode AI without risk. We review refund requests to ensure they are legitimate and not part of a pattern of abuse.
